I have 98 sportage ex 4x4, while i was driving the vehicle died and when i tried to start it would want to start but would just pop then die. So i replaced the fuel pump and filter then the car started again then it began to blow the 15A main fuse which it had done previously when the fuel filter was clogged just seeing if anyone had any ideas why it would be doing this after replacing the bad fuel pump, maybe theirs junk in the fuel line causing excess restriction causing the fuse to blow im not sure. Check for a pinched wire or a bad ground, then put a pressure gauge and do a fuel sytem test... Philip
