I have seen a few cars where they have "blacked out" the indicators and rear lights, where do you get this paint/stuff from?

all you got to do is tint your lights. no need for paint.
Its not technically for lights, I have bought some wing mirrors with indicators in and am wanting to tint the indicator part a little.

I've been using this product from Motip (Dutch company). Going to post some pics soon.

As you can see backlight tinting comes in blue, green, red and black. Tried with some socalled chrome paint but this had too little light transparency.

In the EU this operation is illegal, as far as I know... I've tinted the "clear" area (reverse lights and indicators) in red. I think it looks OK.
