I've had this a few times. I find I am to quick at getting the key in the ignition and turning it to start. It turns over but does not fire.

I noticed when this happens the imobiliser lamp was not lit. If I put the key in the ignition and turn so the ignition lights come on I find the immobilser lamp takes a couple of seconds longer than the rest to light. Once on I can then turn the key and she fires up :)
