I broke the key off in the ignition switch. Can anybody tell me how to replace the switch. Are their any videos out there that show how to do it.
It is a 2004 Sedona
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How about a picture of your key in the opening?.... You may be able to remove the key fragment..
Most keys are brass and you solder to them "if" there is room for a soldering iron.
A piece of copper wire, some solder flux, and some solder.. The key itself requires little pressure to remove normally so just a small solder junction between the end of the key and the wire and a light tug should remove it. A locksmith could probably remove the piece also as they have tools to do just that..and it probably will be cheaper than the labor to replace the lock tumbler.
