Tried replacing fuel filter today
Did everything I read
Tryed priming car with diesel afterwards .
Bulb never got hard so I checked connectors and to my dissapointment there's no fuel coming through
I tryed turning engine her to see if it would kick start the fuel back in.
No luck it cranks but nothing else
Tryed easy start that worked for a second

What have I done wrong I'm so depressed

Car has a few problems before hand
1.wound not start whilst engine was warm, cold start fine
2.would drive fine but cut out whilst idle
3.temp gauge would stay cold and not move,no fans are moving

Would appricate any help
It would just be nice to get the engine ATM
Its a 2002 crdi

I have read where the diesel KIAs had problems with the fuel in the tank causing problems..It seams it gels and can clog up the fuel up take or the liner in the tank starts flaking off..you might want to inspect the insides of the fuel tank for this condition..
The fuel pump may be starving because it's pick up is clogged..

The engine running when the car has jumper cables on and stalls when disconnected points to a charging system that can't keep up with the electrical system's demands. The voltage from the battery then drops below usable levels and the car stalls. This may also be your problem as the fuel pump may stall at idle speeds.
The fans will not run unless needed..Do you have heat available in the car?
The coolant thermostat may be stuck open and may not allow the engine to warm up hot enough to need the fans..
Just some thoughts you might want to check out...

A friend checked tank earlier and said it looked fine
I had the battery checked over yesterday by a roadside assistant
He believes it something to do with the fuel

Mechanic came around today
My priming bulb wasn't powerful enough to suck fuel up
Also did a leak off test and one of my injectors was spraying more diesel out
He's ordereb an injector and is going to try replace it tomorrow for a cost of 260 pound
I also believe my engine might be overheating
Has after i drove my car to work the engine was still throwing out heat an hour after i came back
Also no engine fan was coming on
