Hi Sportage owners!
Recently purchase a Sportage hybrid and although i did not notice it in the first few days i have started to notice that when the engine is charging the battery when accelerating i can hear a faint high pitched electrical hum/whine. Once foot is off the pedal and the car is in electric mode the faint high pitched electrical hum/whine abruptly stops. Is this normal? Cheers.
