I know it's not been done a lot, but i wanna install a set of full led headlights from the facelift on my 2016 gt line which has adaptive xenons. Upon testing, they worked but AFLS stays lit in the dash, like a warning light (sorry my english is not that great). Is there any way to trick the ecu into thinking it still has the adaptive function to turn off the AFLS, like a condenser on the line or something made with a diagnostic tool?

Typically, you have to add resistors to some LED installations to simulate the load on the circuit so the canbus light sensor won't indicate a bulb being out.

Can you direct me to some site or what type of specialist which can do this?
It would be best to search for an Auto-Electrical shop in your location/country.

Many places that sell the LED bulbs also sell the resistors. I've never used them, but I know plenty of people have needed them.

Resistors are usually only required on indicator (flasher) bulbs because of the lower resistance of those bulbs in conjunction with the flasher unit. A LED flasher unit removes the need for resistors. It is highly unlikely that any resistor will be needed for a headlight bulb. There may, however, be an issue with the way what the canbus is expecting to see for the headlights.

Actually, I've seen a bunch of issues talked about with headlight bulbs here and many other places. Also, many of the headlight bulb ads even talk about needing a resistor.

Not familiar with that upgrade, so I'm not sure what to do. The common issue is CANBUS errors with LED's not being sensed and throwing an error, could be the same issue.

CANBUS is the data bus that connects virtually everything electronic in your car.

A Controller Area Network (CAN bus) is a robust vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other's applications without a host computer. It is a message-based protocol, designed originally for multiplex electrical wiring within automobiles to save on copper, but it can also be used in many other contexts. For each device, the data in a frame is transmitted sequentially but in such a way that if more than one device transmits at the same time, the highest priority device can continue while the others back off. Frames are received by all devices, including by the transmitting device.

Cant speak for ur application, but when i went to leds on my 2020… i did not need resistors for the headlights. I did however need them for the drls. I used a 25w resistor. Also as mentioned above, u may need resistors for turn signals. That i cant help with. I jus matched the resistor wattage with the oem bulb wattage. Not sure if this is proper but it worked for me.

FWIW, the LASFIT LED's I used didn't require resistors for any of them. I've used them in the turn signals, backup lights, and headlights. None of them required external resistors.

U have to be careful when using leds that claim they're canbus/error free. Alot of brands say they are including the auxito brand I'm using. Ended up needing resistors. Unless someone here has knowledge based first hand such as the above post, u really dont kno for sure. Ive heard alot of good things about lasfit.
