Hi Everybody,

I currently own a 2005 Kia Sedona. It has 175600 miles, and has been a reliable family hauler since I got it.

Recently, The engine started to make a funny sound. It sounds a bit like loose, slapping timing belt, but it mostly sounds like an aquarium.
I have a relative who knows these Sedonas well, but he couldn't pinpoint the problem. He said it wasn't the engine itself, but another part like the alternator/ some kind of belt. He also said there was a good chance the alternator ball bearing was going out, meaning I would need a new alternator.
Does anybody have any ideas to keep my beloved Sedona from sounding like an aquarium?

Thanks,

mr.sedona

I have determined that this sound is because of the timing belt.
Having it replaced.
Hope this helps somebody in the future!
