what do you need help with motor wise?
also body advise. is it best to get to bare metal prime then paint clear wetsand?
Ive been pondering this as i will be painting my ride here in the next month or so. or is it best to just go to prior primer then prime over and paint?
Ive had mixed opinons here in town?
Hello there fast guy, If you are painting over factory paint there is no reason to go to bare metal or to the factory primer. Just give the old factory paint a good sanding with 600 grit on a block. this will help you find any hidden low spots. If you are going over aftermarket paint with bondo under it or old beat up factory paint sand all the way down. If it is old bondo (over 5 yrs. ) Replace it. I don't really know how "SHOWEY" you want to get, just remember patience is the key and it's harder than it looks. Good luck!!! I hope this helped If you need more detail just ask and try to help. well I have already bondoed a few big dents I had.
I shaved off the nozzles also. dunno why lol just got bored.
The paint on it already isnt to to bad. chips and the usual wear and tear.
Thanks for the info. I was going to go all the way to steel but to save me time (using shop off hrs) ill just scuff it up with 600.
