I wonder if you turn it on and then turn the car off, if it will be on when you remote start?
Heated Windshield On Vehicle Startup
Hey I live in Canada and purchased a new 2023 Kia Sportage HEV very recently. So after setting up Kia Connect I was pretty disappointed to find out there's no option to enable the heated front glass through the app. Meaning if i want the glass to heat up I have to walk out to the car after remote starting it and then press the button to enable it. As it stands now I cant find any way to have this feature come on automatically. Im doubtful there's a way..it just seems foolish to me to include this feature but not have it come on with the remote starter. Anyone else find a way to make this feature come on automatically? The whole point is to not have to walk to the car and manually do it right? I don't understand how kia engineers can offer you so many senseless choices, like switching what knob controls the volume, yet miss the mark completely on a feature like this in cold climate countries.

Haven't tried it that way, I know if you have it on and then turn the car off it doesn't stay on for the next startup. Worth a try to see if It works with remote start tho, I would really like for it to just turn on with the car lol.

Only a small portion has the heated windshield so adding that function might be too costly for them
personally if only use it in the car anyway , it does clear quickly

But then why have other features in the app that state "available on certain models only"

Then why advertise it? It's literally the key point in the newest tv ad. "Remotely start your heated glass windshield"most of those are on a broader array of models and trims
