So I have heated and vented seats. The button as you know turns off or should I say resets each time the car turns off.

Sort of sucks if you have a car starter and would like the heated seats on. Can’t leave the button on.
Anyone find replacement buttons or do they make buttons that are like the Toyato’s with the scroll wheels?

Can not be done w/o major redesign of the system. The switch provides a 12 V pulse (momentary switch) to the seat heater module (basically a micro processor) every time the button is depressed. The module counts the switch depressions and accordingly selects the on-off-heat 1-2-3 range . Power to the heater module is controlled by the BCM and is removed by the BCM firmware after the ign is turned off, thus resetting the heater module to home position off when power is resumed. I also have seat heaters and coolers, and would love them to retain settings, however its not in the cards for the Sorentos.

In most vehicle Heated Butts are not recommended. Skin burn/damage from over using and using a hot setting. Using the old standard remote started was flawless allowing customization.

Absolutely no problem, all you have to do is as soon as you start the car with the remote starter send your wife out to push the seat heater buttons to whatever settings you want. The temperature may go down in the house big time but your seats will be nice and warm.
