HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(:(
just replaced whole hanbrake cable from lever to shoes including the equaliser but it wont take up the slack and i had to wind in the adjusters all the way ,surely the idea of new cables should mean less adjustment, i have spoke to several people in variouis motor factors and people from kia and they assure me only one cable fits the reg number i gave them. only on looking at new cables against old cables i see new cables are longer than the old ones? could these old cables be off an older mark. Somebody please help this is driving me insane as the missus needs her car back

ive got a 04 kia sedona last year my front brake cable snapped ended up having to get the part from the dealer £50 (after trying lots of others )

on getting the part i noticed the bend was wrong that goes past the manifold
kia delership could not exsplain this ( its the right one for the reg )

so in short i had to bend it my self to fit.

so im thinking in 04 they changed things slightly on the kia sedona carnival

going back to the hand brake on the sedona its a crap setup it does need lots of ajustment on the box section and i take it you have a self ajuster on

depending on the reg model i would try a year before or a year after because ive found a small diffrences in lots of things.
your not on your own
