Traded in my 2007 Optima LX last weekend on a brand new 2013 Soul +.
The Optima was a great car, but was racking up the miles - it had 167000 on it when I took it to the dealership.

I guess I'll still be hanging out (mostly reading and learning) but over in the Soul area now.....

That's a lot of miles for a car that is only five years old, do you do a lot of travelling for work??

100 miles round trip almost daily.

Thats rough. I don't mind driving long distance but that much everyday would drive me crazy. My round-trip commute now is 16 miles, and before I moved was only 9 miles. I've had my Optima over a year and a half, and it only has 9k on it. At 6k/yr, I'd need to drive my car for over 27 years to match your mileage. Probably isn't gonna happen.

Good luck with the Soul. I hope it lasts as long as the Optima. It should.

I'm lucky I guess, I walk to work each day, ten minutes each way!!
