I've purchased 3 parts from (different) Ebay sellers, and in each case the part was in packaging with KIA logos and valid part numbers. I suppose someone COULD be counterfeiting this stuff, but IMO the parts I bought weren't expensive enough to make it worthwhile for anyone to do knock offs. Naturally, the prices were WAY less (shipped) than from the site posted by the OP. Ebay's rating and feedback system seems to provide a reasonable guarantee that you won't get ripped off. Try plugging the part # into the Bay search, and see what shows up.

I've looked at a lot of these places, but they all have the same problem: The parts themselves are inexpensive, but when you go to calculate shipping, prepare for some sticker shock. In many cases the new total price was close to what I'd pay at the stealership.

Wish me luck. I broke the plastic electrical connector off of my oil control valve, part#24355 23800. $200.00 @ dealer; $20.00 on Ebay from www.Sourcemost.de made in Germany! Looks very similar but shorter and not nearly as heavy. But it fits and I am trying it.. Am I wrong?

Personally, I'd be just a bit uneasy about any non-OEM part that has anything to do with oil. Although there 's a good chance it will work fine, I'd have paid $43 for this OEM part instead.
