For some time have been using emergency wire in boot to open fuel access flap.
Have sprayed with wd 40, release nipple not activated by switch.

IF the fuse has blown, which is it

WHat else could it be, should I REPLACE SWITCH

I wouldn't have thought it would have it's own fuse, it is such a low current it probably shares a fuse. Is everything else working ok? To check the switch unplug and remove it from the car. Using a multimeter on continuity, put across the terminals and push the button. Keep trying across all terminals. If no beep from any combination the switch is probably dead. If you do get a beep the next stop is to check the solenoid.

I had the switch go on mine, had to use a bit of link wire into the connector on back of switch everytime i wanted to fill up while I waited for a switch to turn up on ebay.
