Anyone know how to remove the front grill on the hatchback i want to paint the chrome black. I tried to get those black clips off but the dam heads keep breaking

paint it with Plasti-dip and you won't have to remove it.

Yep plasti-dip or vinyl would have been much easier. Getting the chrome grille surround off is a bitch. You have to be careful with it too as it dont take much to snap the chrome bits.

Once all the screws are out its easier to start in the middle. Once the middle is out its easier to work your way around. Use a flat head screw driver to unclip the grille, use a heat gun to soften the mount areas so you dont break the mounting areas when pulling the chrome bit out.

The mounts are fragile. I broke one pulling my one out.

Yeh I am painting with plasti dip I didn't want to separate the chrome just get the grill off to paint it inside work its still to cold outside

Also trying to change my blinker bulbs can't get to them without removing the the black radiator shield
