Hi guys, I've ran a search for this issue but maybe didn't word it right, so thought I'd post. I have a 2002 Optima LX that my son ran through a fence. The frame and supports are undamaged but the fenders, hood, bumper cover, etc... are scratched and beat to poo. I know that the fenders are interchangeable 01-06, and assume that the rest is also. I found a 2006 LX with all the parts I need but it the headlight design is different.

My question is if I got the entire front clip off the 2006 will I have any issues? I mean if the fenders fit then so should the hood. and if the hood fits then the bumper, grill, and lights should work also right? I appreciate any help on this, I've googled and binged myself to death.

Part of your search problem is that although I have been fooling around with cars for more than 50 years, I have no idea what you mean by "The Entire Front Clip". Maybe it's a specialist term, but if so, too specialist for me. I do know what "beat to poo" means, however; that's definitely a technical term.

Sorry for not making myself clear. The front clip is everything forward of the windshield/firewall, i.e., fenders, hood, bumper, grille, headlight assembly, etc... That is what's normally considered the front clip. Glad to educate.:)
