Drove 11 straight hours from the coast home. I found the bench-type seat, as opposed to bucket seats, much more comfortable and better for a long drive. You could change positions.

I had read two knocks on Souls for long trips: bad seats and too much engine noise. Neither are true. Heck, that ain't noise, that's 164 growling horses!

Anybody else want to share a road trip experience?

We regularly do road trips of 1400 km to the state capital. It's usually 2 full days of driving at an average speed of just over 90 km/h. Our Cerato 2.0 does fine on these trips (done it 3 times so far). Again, the seats are written up as being a bit hard, but no worries for either driver or passenger. Fuel consumption is 6.9 litres/100 km with 2 passengers plus 150 kg of gear.
