There are three or four screws on the bottom of the heater box inside on the passenger side.

Remove these and unplug the harnes (behind the gloove box) and it will drop right out.

I reconmed removing the passenger seat to have more room. I didn't and wish I would have. It's only 4 15mm bolts. Believe me it will make it much easier.

I checked the fuses in the kick panel
think they are ok
noticed the clock dim when fan switch on
don,t wanna tear the car apart if not necessary , or take it to a dealer
any more ideas or start taking it apart?

The fan motor could be bad, if the clock dims when you turn the switch that means it is getting power.

Pull the fan out (as said above) and see if there are leaves or if the motor is turning freely.
