Hello,
I have had some problems with the evaporation system:
1- I have replaced the purge valve, after checking that it had remained open.
2- I have tried adding a plastic bag to the gas cap to seal and rule out that it is a leak from the gas cap.
3- I have changed the hose from the purge valve to the front canister, as it looked worn.

After performing these 3 steps, the car generates a new code P0455 GROSS LEAK, with TORQUE app I have monitored EvapP and it shows me the following:
With Check Engine off:As the Check Engine turns on:

Note:
after arriving at my house, I turn off the Check Engine light and it does not turn on again until I drive approx + 40KM or 2 days later.

Can you please tell me what could be happening?
thanks in advance!

Actually the least time consuming and ACCURATE way to go about this is to have a "smoke test" done. Whether by any independent shop or if you have access to an automotive smoke generator.
we have an 08 Spectra 2.0/auto and my bet is on the carbon canister or hoses back at the fuel tank.
GOOD LUCK
