Hey guys, been searching for an answer and getting nowhere...

My timing belt snapped and took the engine with it. I'm looking to do an engine swap and bought the engine but later found that my car is california emission and therefore equipped with EGR... the engine I now have is not set up for EGR... Can I still do this swap?

I believe that you can move the EGR parts from the old engine to the new one... I don't think there is any difference between the California and non CARB engines... It wouldn't make sense to build a "special" engine block just for CA and NY... Your engine may use a different throttle body but again you should be able to move the "plumbing"...
