Purchased 5 months ago 2016 Kia sorento. About 3 months in I was driving over a causeway when out of nowhere had complete power failure. I turned my key car came back never happened again. Yesterday my husband drove to the store and the engine started flashing and now car won’t accelerate beyond 15-20 mph.
vehicle has 100,000 miles on it, full synthetic oil recently done was owned by rental car company prior to my ownership great condition. But I’m paying 500 month in car payments and I can’t. Even drive the car to the mechanic to get it fixed it needs to be towed it will not drive beyond that speed and it’s not safe. not to mention when you do try to accelerate past that speed and there’s like a rattling that comes from under the hood. Anyone have any idea what I might be looking at here for repairs? Any known recalls?
