I got the new rad. fan on and tried to start it but had to give it more gas than usual.. Now if you give it gas the engine lopes between 3500 and 2000 rpm's.
I've checked the plugs and plug wires, they all seem fine. But no matter how much gas you try to give it 3500 is tops then it lopes ...
What in the world can cause this ? It was running fine when I turned it off to replace the fan.
Now it's like a completely different car..
Does anyone know or have any ideas what can cause this ??

I have read about problems with the wiring harness that runs near/under the radiator.
You may have "disturbed" some questionable wiring in the area you were working.
Just a thought...

I didn't remove the rad., just the fan..
Could this be a fuel related issue or what ?
I'm retired and on a very limited budget and hope it's something I can fix myself.

I changed the plugs back to the old NGK BKR6E and it seems to run a lot better. I'll get some new plugs ..
What is the best set of plug wires ?
