Hi Folks,

We have a DVD player in our new 2006 Sedona but the headphones don't seem to work and I can't get any sound either. Tried to go through the dvd menu and I've set it to 'speakers' but we dont have any 'speakers' fitted.

I have worked out that they are IR but can I just buy any replacement Infrared Headphones?.......& tally ho, problem solved?

Cheers

I would guess yes but don't quote me on that. Most cad DVD IR systems have an 'A' and 'B' channel (so you can run 2 screens with different media). Check through your dvd menu and look for any A&B IR settings.

you can buy ir headphones yes, alternatively (and much cheaper) if you dont mind the sound coming through the stereo purchase an FM transmitter and plug it into the headphone out socket on the front of the DVD player. You could also purchase a headphone splitter and connect this to the headphone socket and use wired headphones.
