Has anyone noticed on the 2011 EX or SX, sometimes when you press the driver's side button to roll up the window that it doesn't go up?
I've had this happen a few times. I talked to the Kia dealer about this a while ago.
They said that it is because the Window Actuator is computer controlled. That if you press the button too quickly in a row, that it won't work. That if the window won't roll up, then wait a few seconds before pressing the button again.
This seems to be working for me, but it seems weird compared to other cars that I have. On other cars, I can just press the button without worrying about pressing it again too quickly.
I got it to have the issue at the dealership, by rolling down the window quickly and then trying to put the window up and it wouldn't go up. They said I needed to wait a few more seconds and then press the up button. This was in front of the mechanic. I think I tried it on another car on the lot and it was the same way.
I just want to make sure the dealer isn't feeding me some BS and then it gets worse after the warranty is up.
