A quick scan of the internet says it does.

I was thinking 'what a novel question'. We don't get a diesel option in the states or I would have one. Better power and fuel economy, but the missus doesn't like the smell of diesel fuel. She would get used to it!

Back in 2011 I test drove a 2.4 petrol mid-spec, then got around to driving a 2.0 turbo diesel - took it back to the yard and bought it! Only problem I have is the service costs and the fear of contaminated (water) fuel. Cruising and overtaking power is awesome. On my second diesel now.
