Does everyone torque the oil filter housing to 25 ft/lbs?

I'm about ready to do my 1st oil change on my 2026 SXP hybrid (1.6L). It appears that plastic oil filter housing requires 25 ft/lbs of torque to reinstall. To me that sound way to tight. So I'm curious has anyone actually torqued that plastic filter housing to that load (without breaking it)? Let me know what you do, thanks.

Just an update to my original post. I did my 1st oil & filter change today (26 Sportage SXP Hybrid) and I must say, the Kia design oil filter SUCKS. It takes 100 times longer to chance that stupid oil filter than a standard canister style. And you better do it correctly or your going to have a leak. I'd never allow a dealership's low man on the totem pole change that filter, or even a quick change lube shop.

And FWIW I torqued the filter housing to the spec called out on the housing base (35 Nm or 26 ft/lbs). Before I removed the original factory installed filter I marked the housing with white paint as shown in the attached photo. After I reinstalled the new filter and torqued it to the 35Nm spec the white marks almost perfectly aligned again, so the torque spec in my opinion should be followed.
