Disable cruise control?
Hey everyone - this is a weird question, I know, but I have a family member who is mis-using the cruise control.
It's dangerous and I want to disable to cc so it does not work at all.
Nobody else in the family uses the cc.
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to disconnect the cc?

I know i can turn off the adaptive cruise but there's no setting to disable the function the only way would be to disconnect the worrying physically.
Seriously, if they are misusing it they probably shouldn't be driving as most cars have basic cruise control now and none of them can be disabled.

If it's just using it when it's not appropriate, that might be just tinkering with the "new stuff", and they'll get tired of it.
Of course, I have to wonder why nobody uses the cruise, I find it extremely useful. With the addition of adaptive cruise, it's really helped on long highway drives.
