just got my front passenger side axle for 2001 sephia. from looking at videos and reading site posts looks like everyone replaces all the way to the transmission. My part goes to the mount and connects to the shaft going to the tranny. Can I replace it there are do I need to get the additional shaft to the tranny

Going through this same thing right now. My boots were screwed up and it was just easier (and cost about the same with less hassle) to replace both the drive axle assemblies.

I just picked up the replacements this morning and the shaft on the right (Passenger side) doesn't need to be replaced from the mount to the box IMHO. All they told me I needed were the actual CV axles themselves.
