Creaking/groaning door

I place my bet that you have something in the driver's door pocket. Someone recently posted that they lined the area with felt or carpet to prevent noise. I have a weapon there that gets noisy if not wrapped in something soft.

Thank you. I wish it were that simple. But that would be more of a clunk noise. Also I haven't owned it long enough to forget that I put my gun there.

Try wiping down all the rubber trim & seals with silicone grease. Shin Etsu is awesome!

It's a Honda part number because it's recommended for use on Del Sol rubber trim and seals to keep them nice and supple.

Thank you. I tried a spray, which appears to have made no difference, but I'll look into this, as well.

@dexheimere any progress on your issue? I just posted about a plastic slapping noise i'm hearing from that same area. I'm stumped.

I have the exact same problem on my 2021 with 13k miles.
With the door open I grab the inside handle and pull up with some force. That seems to fix it for a day or so then it starts creaking again. It sounds like the whole inside door liner is creaking. It's really annoying.
