I'm about to change my wife's 2003 Spectra timing belt and have been hesitating as I cannot find out how to torque the crankshaft pulley bolt to the required ft lbs after changing the belt. Will the motor turn as I apply torque to the bolt and if it does what is the best way to prevent it from turning so I can apply the proper torque. Any help with my situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pete

Changed the timing belt this weekend and did not have to pull the crankshaft pulley bolt. There are four 10 mm bolts that hold the pulley on and the main pulley bolt does not need to be pulled. To get the lower timing belt cover off you do need to pull the engine mount. Pete
