I've had a 2016 Kia Rio LX 1.6L for a few months, and it had been running very well until I realized it was using antifreeze, a little but daily. I looked for the leak and found residue on one of the water pump bolts, as seen in the image:
But I also noticed that just below the water pump, there was a hole plugged with gray silicone, which also had antifreeze residue:
The problem is, I don't know if it's some kind of seal or plug, but I couldn't find it online or at auto parts stores. For now, I've recapped it with silicone.
