On the 2019 Sorento SXL, Can you clear certain radio presets or all of them at once via a dash settings without unhooking the battery cable or fuses ?

I actually just want to cycle through the media formats using the button on the wheel.
Whenever I am on one of the radio modes and change the station to one I want as default, I cycle through again and that station is not the default for that mode. How can this be set?
If it can, I won't care about other presets I don't use anymore.
Does that make sense ?
Thank you

My frustration is the many duplicates I have in my memorized list of stations. Don't know how I did that. Fat fingered something probably.

You can reset it

There's a small access hole in the upper right hand corner of the head unit. Use a toothpick.
Section 1, page 6 in your multimedia manual.

Hello Kronyx. I looked in the (US) manual and saw this...RESET Resets the system settings. (Preset radio channels and other data will not be deleted). Is there a different place to reset the presets as you mentioned?

I didn't know that, well just unplug your battery for 2 minutes it will do the trick !

I'm pretty certain I've not lost my presets which changing a battery or disconnecting it for other reasons.. Radio might have an internal backup or its saves them in a place that doesn't require power.

Did you check the config in the cluster menu ? I know you can choose with input you want but don't know if you can select the channels ?

I searched and found this on another Kia blog. I'll try it if all applies and others might try it as well.

Press Setup button on dash.
Choose System Info icon on touchscreen.
Choose Default on the left side of the touchscreen
Press Default button on bottom of touchscreen

That should reset all your custom stereo settings, including radio presets, back to factory default.

Thanks for this, I had to scroll the screen to the left to get to the last 'default' hidden on the right side, but there it was !
Cleared the presets as I needed and no bad things happened ( but it dropped the clock's dst check box back to standard time. )

Hey Steve807 - I got to the very end and wondered if resetting to default would clear all my preset "previous destinations" so I exited out for now..
Would you know if they would be cleared?
Thanks
