I have a problem with my Kia Spectra 2007 battery. It's dead whenever the car was parked for more than 2 days. I bought this used car last year at Mazda dealership with new Mazda battery. I guess they've replaced the battery after having it dead several times but this is not a battery...
‘06 Spectra, 180k miles. First the list off issues:
1. Misfire on cylinder 1
2. O2 sensor reports high voltage for longer than a predetermined amount of time. (Paraphrasing).
3. Fast right turn signal
4. Transmission solenoid/transmission often stuck in 3rd gear. Aka limp home mode.
When I changed my thermostat I unplugged this and the plastic just shattered. I was going to just buy a new sensor, or just splice the wires but the colors didn’t match from sensor to harness, but Kia said I have to bring it to them to tell me what it is.
I have a 2005 Spectra and would like to disable the trunk release button to the left of the steering wheel. This vehicle is not secure all with no locking center console, no locking glove box and a wide open trunk release button. Any ideas?: Do I just popout the trunk release button?
Both halves of the electrical connection for the engine oil temperature sensor are charred and crumbling. Replacing the EOT solves half of my problem. I cannot find the connector anywhere. The connector is pretty simple, it's just two connections. I'm guessing that there is at least one other...
