I had my car safety inspected in March and I had both front wheel bearings replaced. The car has driven fine until about up until a week ago when symptoms of the front left wheel bearing began to appear. Now the car whines like a wheel bearing is going and decelerates when I take my foot off the gas, almost as if I am lightly applying the brakes. I had my brakes done awhile ago and the guy said I should replace the calipers but he didn't have any so he just cleaned them up. I'm asking if this sounds like a bearing or brake issue. Also the check engine light came on and I'm also wondering if this could be related to my issue.
I'm going to take it into the shop as soon as I can get an appointment.
Thanks for any advice.

Edit: It's an 2006 Rio with nearly 200,000km
