He's right, it's a fairly should be a fairly simple operation. There's generally 2 bolts that hold the caliper in place. I usually remove those and it allows me to take the caliper off the rotor. Next, I take a c-clamp and use it to push the piston back into it's original position so the new pads will fit. Reinstall is the reverse operation. (I usually re-grease the 2 bolts though, just a note)
