Assuming car is in warranty then yes covered.
Dealer will need to remove stereo, get some numbers of it, submit claim and request replacement unit.

Although... given the price you can get a half decent head unit now, I would personally bin it and buy something better... all imho of course.

I actually thought the VDO system was ok, mine has a few of the led strips not working which in a vehicle with only 15,000 miles on the clock I think is a bit off, it doesn't stop the thing working but is a little annoying.

Mmm ponders (would Kia replace the front or repair the unit under warranty at all)?

Yes, if car is under warranty then it's covered..
There is a very good reason Kia dumped VDO as supplier.. warranty returns were horrific.

Hi Murphwiz,

So what brand do Kia fit now in UK Sedona,s?

I have to admit the only reason I'm dumping my VDO is it has no AUX in.

I don't have any problems with it.

Been a couple of posts same as Clartsonly of faulty VDO units not ejecting CDs properly.

Because it's waranty but Kia have dumped VDO will Kia replace like for like or could Clartsonly come to an arrangement with Kia on a spec more to his liking
maybe paying the diffrence?

JVC are now the standard fit units.
VDO warranty is still in place for cars with VDO units.
They did fit sony's for a short while in Sedonas for some reason, not sure why, everythings JVC MP3 now.
