Can I (should I) update infotainment in my 2017 Sedona?

Hello,

We just bought a 2017 Kia Sedona that does not have navigation in it (as far as I can tell), but has the other features in the infotainment/head unit. I was going to try and update the software following the instructions Kia has on their site, but as I started to notice that seems to be for navigation units. I do not have a nav model in the system settings, only software and firmware versions. Their nav update tool also doesn't come up with my software version when I search. Can I, and maybe more importantly, should I update the software?

Side question, there is an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay apps but they are greyed out. Are these optional features my model doesn't have or am I not seeing a way to enable this? We'd like to use Android Auto if we could. The dealer wasn't sure if it had it or not...

Thanks!
