I picked up a ‘12 EX V6 AWD last week. The driver’s seat trim that houses the power seat switch was broken and the strain on the wiring to the switch caused the switch circuit board to crack. I’m trying to recline the seatback as it is too far forward to drive comfortably. I found the switch schematics here: http://www.ksmanual.com/power_seat_control_switch_inspection-1144.html
According to this, I should be able to jump terminal 1 to terminal 8 to recline the seat but it doesn’t work. I verified that I do have power at pin 1. Am I missing something? Is there another way to recline the seat while I’m waiting for the replacement switch? I thought about removing the panel on the seatback to Hotwire the motor directly, but am not sure how to remove it.
Thanks,
