A tire on my 2011 sorento got a bulge on one side of the tread yesterday on origional kuhmos. the car wobbled all over the place. new falcon tires at $99 each at Americas tire/Discount tire today. $535 total for all. i went up to 245-60-18 instead of 235 and they were $11 each cheaper. sam

I liked the look of the 245 winters on my Sorento. Gave it a bit of a 'meaner' stance. How do they ride?

36k miles is pretty good for any sort of tyre (4 or 5?) on any car. I hope the newies last as long.

Indeed. I usually replace mine around 30-35k anyway since that's when the tread depth is usually starting to approach the wear bars anyway. I don't buy "high mileage" tires that are supposed to last 50-60k miles since the rubber is generally too hard to make them useful for me in the winter months.
