Hi All,

My Ceed SW 1.6 2008 requires a front cyclinders and breakpads change
- genuine parts are expensive. Will I compromise the warranty if I fit none genuine kia parts ??????

cylinders would be covered by warranty, wouldn't they?
pads not, but it does not matter what brand you put on.

Ceeds are only sold in Europe so the US link is irrelevant.

Brake pads are not covered by warranty, they wear out especially on a 5 year old car.

Disc brake cars do not have front cylinders, they are on old drum cars. Disc braked cars have calipers. Calipers should be covered under warranty IMHO, they are not a normal service or wear part.
