When you stop and hold the brakes the tranny feels like it is disengaged - if you hit the gas real quick after taking your foot off the brake it can feel like a jerk when the tranny reengages. Drive your car in the "sport mode" and see if that makes a difference for you.
It depends how strong the jerk is, but I would say it's normal. The throttle plate becomes sticky after a while, so you get no power as you start to press the gas pedal, then all-of-a-sudden, it will spring open and then you feel the jerk. Get a buddy and do the CRC GDI intake cleaner treatment to see if that helps.
