Will I have problems if I increase or decrease the wheel offset by a few MM's?

Is 5 x 4 1/2 the same or close enough to 5 x 114.3 ?

I'm thinking of getting center caps for my winter steelies.

--depends how much.. test fit first..
The 2011-2013 ex/sx 18"x7" wide wheel with a 41+ offset.
my summer ones are 22"x9.5" wide with 40+ offset
the front is really close to the brake caliper cover compared to stock.. if that gives you an idea.. (2 fingers before touching brake calipers on stock, one finger on summer ones)

a website i confirmed that Offset: 34-45mm is the fitting size

it will be heavier and increased vibration, check how much off is that in the odometer in 1010 tires, mine was about 0.7%.. in 100km/hr in odo, 99.3km/hr actual; tire size i have is 265/35R/22
Speedometer Difference: 0.690% too slow
t was better than the 20s... you have to have 3% allowance, or else brake failure occurs.... i think those tires are not suppose to be there for the sorento,.. it should have been a lower profile than that.. (from the link/pic you showed..) you are said to be in Speedometer Difference: 4.779% too slow according to 1010tires..
you should have this size if going 24's 275/25R24 then it will show Speedometer Difference: 1.060% too slow

so still, mine is closest to oem in overall circumference.. thats why i chose 22's

If you decide to use 20", then use 255/45/20 tires , which according to 1010tires will give a Speedometer Difference: 0.027% too slow

It works well on mine size wise and it was the closest combo i could find to match the original specs.

what would be the best size tire to use for 22" rims?
265/35R/22

for me 22 is the best looks and maximum i should go to, and with 20's its still close to look like our 18's sometimes, i have tried test fitting before (no offense naz just my opinion..) and it seeme like the 22 was the best look; 24 was too pimped and actually prone to damaging the rim.. tires was so skinny
i got the idea of what rims to put on actually basing with the ford edge.. they have 17s for base 18's for mid to upgraded trim and 22's for their sport.. so i figured their sport trim looked good with 22's so from there went and figured out..

I actually like the looks of those 20's. Still a decent amount of tire, but a big enough difference on wheel diameter. Those wheels by themselves don't look to hot, but they match his vehicle very nicely!

That really looks great. I've seen those rims on cars and I would never have guessed it would translate so well to a SUV. I have the same color as you and now I want me some... But I don't usually like being a copycat. Have you noticed any difference in acceleration with (I'm guessing) a heavier wheel?

Great deal BTW

With the combination I picked the weight is just about the same but I wanted my total diameter a little bit larger, havent notice any difference in acceleration or braking really happy with them. Looks better in person
