I need to replace my rear bearings on Rio 2004.

A mechanic is asking $200 for rear, both sides and both inner and outer bearings.

I just wanted to hear what you think about the price?
I've already bought the bearings, so those $200 is actually labor.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks,
Lik

I can't remember exactly what I paid but I had my '03 Rio's rear bearings done a couple years back at a Meineke shop and before I even read your post I was thinking it was around $200 or a little over, so sounds like they quoted you a fair price.

I'v done mine on my 02 over the years it took about 3 hours for me to do both sides but i dont have a lift or anything, out in the drivway with a jack and i'm slow. Part's were around 40 bucks bearings/races/seals/new spindle nuts. Sound's pretty fair hey he has to make a living to, but you bought the parts maybe a little lower price is in order just my thoughts on the labor time. http://www.kiatechinfo.com/ for service materials. Good luck Reguard's Ronjohn

Did it myself, slightly harder than an oil change.
