i just tested the coils as the kgis said and it is suppose to be .55-.60 ohm but im getting 0 ohms on the ones in the car and the ones i got from a junker. can anyone tell me if they r still good? :confused:

its not auto ranging, i used a cheap G.E. multimeter. it norm. doesnt have problems finding ohms

Nope, coils are no good. They should always read a resistance. Make sure that you are testing them the correct way, from input to output, I didn't get it right the first time...

i tested the spark and they have spark but im not sure how good the spark is.
ill retest them again just to make sure i did the ohms test right.

i put the tester to the proper gap and there was spark, my tester it similar to that, mine is pictured

could it be the the ecm is bad, could it be sending the spark to late or to soon?
this thing has no pwr and it wont restart warm. if u hit the gas, lets just say i have seen golf carts get up and go faster :)

Your cheap meter does not have the resolution to read below 1 ohm and it "looks like" 0 ohms. An inexpensive digital multimeter can be gotten from Harbor Freight for around $6 an on sale for $3 and will read that low a resistance.
