Hi all
I have to open my engine to fix some minor header problems
so I think its a good time to upgrade some internal parts

the first thing would be port & polishing the header and second one I thinking of boring the block from 75.5mm to 78mm and using Mazda B6 pistons ...

the reason why I didn't use the A6D header and pistons is , its almost impossible to find A6D engine parts around Me :(

What I want to know is , does the B6 pistons work on a bored A5D engine ? ( or it needs more work to fit) ?

and how much hp/tq gain could I see with p&p-ing the header and boring the block to 1594cc ?

thanks

B6 pistons require use of b6 rods and a b6 crank. The pin height is different on the two pistons and will cause the Mazda pistons to come out of the block if installed on a5d or a6d rods.
