This aux-in adapter would be great for my Sportage, but they don't specify yes or no for compatablity. Anyone got any insight?

I just bought a headunit with Aux Input on it.

I thought that that the wiring harness that taps into was the same one your head unit did so you couldnt have both hooked up at the same time.

Now that I look at it I could have been wrong. Can anyone verify?
