I need to replace my control arm bushings but I have no clue if I have to replace the whole are or just the bushings.:eek:

Front? 2 or 4WD? What year Sportage?

Front upper and lower control arm bushings are replaceable but by the time you buy the bushings and ball joint for the lower and pay for labor to press them out and back in, I think that ROCKAUTO.COM's new ones for less than 40 bucks each is a pretty good deal.
If your bushings are shot, odds are your ball joint isn't far behind and the upper one you cannot replace.
Oh, and they are all the same from 95-02, 2 or 4 wheel drive, 2 or 4 door.
