You have to remember if every customer purchased his/her vehicle from another country to get a better deal, there will be no Kia dealers in the UK.

We earn our living from customers purchasing vehicles from us and in return we offer a good after care service.

This could be the reason you are getting problems when dealing with your local retailer.
Most of the Kia dealers in the UK are independently owned businesses and cannot support all their overheads without retail vehicle sales.
