i hope they checked the brake pedel switch adjustment, it can be very touchey concerning cutting out of cruse control.
always look for the easy things first.
i found out how touchy this adjustment is when i install a trailer (carivan) brake controler when i had to connect a sensor wire to the white wire on the brake switch harmess.
then had to readjust the brake switch
i also have a chevy/astro with a brake controler in it and at times if my gas pedel foot hits the SIDE of the brake pedel will disengage the cruse control
